A commercial cleaning contractor, and nothing else.
Gold Standard Cleaning Services was set up to do one job properly: keep UK business premises clean, consistently, on contracts that are written down and delivered without chasing.
Founded on a simple frustration
Ask most facilities managers about their cleaning contractor and you hear the same thing: it started well and then quietly slipped. Bins missed, washrooms half done, nobody answering when it matters, and a scope of work nobody can find.
We built Gold Standard around fixing that. We only take commercial work, so nothing competes with your building for attention. We scope sites properly before quoting. We prove the standard with a working trial clean. And we put the entire scope in the agreement, so the standard on day one is the same standard in month eighteen.
Today we work with offices, warehouses and industrial units, retail sites, clinics, schools and leisure venues across the United Kingdom — from single premises to multi-site portfolios.

Four commitments
Evidence over promises
Every prospective client is offered a real, timed trial clean with before and after photographs. We would rather be judged on a finished site than a sales pitch.
Scope in writing
Ambiguity is how cleaning contracts fail. Every task, area and frequency is written into the service agreement before the first visit.
Answer the phone
New enquiries are responded to within minutes. Existing clients get a direct line to someone who can actually change something on site.
No hidden lock-ins
Contracts are monthly rolling with 30 days' notice. We keep clients by doing the work properly, not by trapping them in a 12-month term.
How we take on a site
We call you back fast
Enquiries are answered within minutes, not days. You get a confirmation message and a real conversation with someone who understands commercial sites.
Qualification call
We run through premises type, floor area, rooms and washrooms, current arrangements, specialist requirements, access and whether you want in-hours or out-of-hours cover.
Scoped proposal
We confirm the detail back to you, set out exactly what each visit includes, and agree frequency — so there is no ambiguity once the contract is live.
A working trial clean
Not a walkthrough. A real clean of your site, timed on arrival and departure, with before and after photographs. You see the standard before you commit to anything.
Service agreement
Scope, frequency, start date and terms in writing. Monthly rolling with 30 days' notice — no long lock-ins, no surprises.
Onboarding & quality checks
Access set up, a named cleaner assigned, quality checks across the first visits and regular check-ins so issues are caught early rather than tolerated.
Cleaners who know the site
Wherever possible your building keeps the same named cleaner. They learn the layout, the quirks, the areas that always need extra attention and the ones that don't. That consistency is the difference between a site that stays clean and one that needs chasing every fortnight.
Everyone we send is briefed on your written scope, your access arrangements and your site rules before their first visit, and their early work is quality-checked before the contract settles into routine.
